FAO75 Growing Together, Prospering Together, and Sustaining Together.October 16th of this year is World Food Day and also the 75th birthday of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The theme of this year's Food Day is "Growing Together, Prospering Together, and Sustaining Together. Actions Create the Future."

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Guterres, issued a video message and pointed out that we need to step up our efforts to achieve the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals. We need to improve the food system’s ability to withstand turbulence and climate shocks, ensure that everyone enjoys a sustainable and healthy diet, minimize food waste, and enable the food system to provide workers with a decent and safe livelihood. We have the knowledge and ability to create a more resilient, fairer and more sustainable world!
