Build the Backbone of East Africa’s Grain Industry with Craftsmanship – On-site Steel Structure Construction of Kenya’s 600-Ton-per-24-Hour Wheat Flour Milling Project

This project is a key large-scale livelihood initiative for deep wheat processing in Kenya, designed with a processing capacity of 600 tons of wheat every 24 hours. The main milling workshop adopts a full heavy-duty prefabricated steel structure system, featuring long spans, high load-bearing capacity and superior stability, perfectly accommodating the installation of integrated large-scale milling units covering dust removal, grinding and storage.
Standardized safety management protocols are fully implemented across the construction site: all personnel wear complete safety protective gear as required. Segmented flow operations are carried out for high-altitude hoisting, steel component hauling and frame welding. Chinese project managers and technical teams are stationed on-site round the clock, bringing mature domestic steel construction standards to the project, while local labor teams execute on-site operations. Practical training on steel structure installation and equipment embedding techniques is provided to local workers, delivering dual benefits of technology transfer and localized employment.
