Rooted in East Africa’s Livelihood Grain Industry, Co-building Local Maize Granaries – On-site Documentary of Joy Millers’ 300TPD Maize Flour Plant in Kenya
Rows of turquoise prefabricated steel workshops stand tall, alongside massive metal grain silos. The slogan “Quality is our middle name” highlights the local enterprise’s pursuit of excellence. This integrated maize flour mill with a daily capacity of 300 tons is a tangible achievement of China-Kenya grain industry cooperation.
The whole plant layout, steel workshop construction, complete maize milling equipment and large raw grain silo system are built with mature Chinese engineering and grain processing technologies, customized for local Kenyan maize raw materials. Large-capacity silos centrally collect maize from surrounding farmers and drastically reduce grain loss from mildew. Fully automated milling workshops steadily produce high-quality maize flour and grits to meet the daily staple demand of urban and rural residents.
